Butternut Squash Bread — Moist and Rich
Great with a cup of hot coffee.
Ingredients:
3 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups of sugar
2 teaspoons baking soda
½ teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
2 cups cooked mashed butternut squash (#4569919)
4 eggs beaten
½ cup melted butter
Directions:
1. Combine first 7 ingredients, stir lightly and set aside.
2. Combine squash, eggs, butter; mix well. Add flour mixture, stirring only
until blended. Pour into 2 greased and floured 9"x5"x3" loaf pans.
3. Bake at 350° degrees for 50 to 60 minutes or until bread tests done.
Bruschetta Pesto Butter — Certain to perk up
your taste buds!
This Bruschetta Butter makes a nice addition to any menu when made into balls and served with Artesian Breads or Crackers!
Ingredients:
4 pounds of butter at room temperature
1/5# Bruschetta Salsa (#4478392)
½ cup Pesto Sauce
Directions:
1. Whip butter in a mixer, ‘til soft and pliable.
2. Drain all liquid from Bruschetta and add to the butter mixture
3. With your mixer set to a low speed combine both of the ingredients;
while scraping down the sides of mixing bowl often.
4. Slowly add the pesto sauce ’til combined in the butter mixture.
5. Place the butter in a covered container a keep refrigerated.
